31 August 2023 UN Ocean Decade - Call 5 for Decade Actions

UN Ocean Decade Call No. 5 for Decade Actions focussed on marine pollution and marine ecosystems. It also included a rolling call for Decade Coordination Offices (DCOs) and Decade Collaborative Centres (DCCs) to boost Ocean Decade Challenges. The primary focus of Call 5 was on Challenge 1 and Challenge 2.

As part of Challenge 1 – Marine Pollution, the Ocean Decade was looking for Programmes with a focus on plastic pollution and nutrient pollution. To deliver on Challenge 2 – Ecosystem Restoration and Management, the Call targeted Programmes submissions related to area-based management, restoration and multiple ocean stressors.
