Advances in Marine Ecosystem Modelling Research (AMEMR) is a conference series that occurs approximately every three years, inaugurated in 2005. The next in the series – AMEMR 2024 will be held in Plymouth, UK, July 2024, https://www.amemr.com/. AMEMR has grown into the international forum to present and absorb the latest developments in marine (eco)system modelling and discuss new challenges and opportunities that relate directly to the SDG and Ocean Decade challenges. AMEMR promotes interdisciplinary discussion among stakeholders and modelling, observational and experimental scientists and students who want to contribute to the conceptualisation, design, development and application of improved and new marine ecosystem models of all types. AMEMR place a strong emphasis on encouraging networking and facilitating ECR involvement at all levels. AMEMR attracts 120-150 international participants.
