11 March 2025 Ocean Decade UK welcomes its new members!

Hot on the heels of our stakeholder event at the Royal Society Ocean Decade UK officially welcomed it's new members to the latest meeting of the NDC, hosted over two days at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

Encompassing our all-society approach, our volunteers represent voices from across the breadth of the UK’s Ocean Science and sustainability communities and are committed to championing the UN Ocean Decade.

The UK NDC welcomes Elvira Poloczanska, Conor Savage, David Tudor, Katrina Ryan and Gareth Cunningham to the team!

NDC chair Matt Frost says "I am really excited about the new members of the committee who have a range of knowledge and expertise that will really help us as we seek to promote and engage with the Ocean Decade".
