8 April 2024 Ocean Decade Week: 8-12 April 2024
Alongside the main programme of the UN Ocean Decade Conference, a series of Satellite Events was held across Barcelona from 8th to 12th April. A number of UK Decade partners co-hosted events in Barcelona to showcase endorsed Actions, inspire engagement with the Ocean Decade and support international collaboration. UK Highlights
Representing Ocean Decade UK, Chair Matt Frost hosted two events during Ocean Decade Week:
- Monday 8th April: 'The Ocean Decade from a national perspective: What does success look like?'.
- Thursday 11th April: 'What can National Decade Committees do for you? Linking global and national priorities through stakeholder engagement'.

- Tuesday 9th April: 'Nutrient Pollution - Global Action Network'

- Friday 12th April: 'Building Ocean Leadership: Networking and expanding career opportunities', ECOPs and Edinburgh Ocean Leaders.
